Default backcolor of a Field based on condition Yes or No in another field

I need to change the back color of a field when the check box is selected in
another field.

If HOLD is checked as Yes then I need Search backcolor to be red.

Gene,
What version of Access are you using?
If Access 2000 or above, use Format/Conditional Formatting to handle
that.

Expression is [Hold] = True

Can be used to control the backcolor of [Search]
