Default calendar sort order

I need to know how to sort my calendar by various ranges of dates so it
displays appointments according to the label (i.e. important vs. travel
required vs. personal) so I can select to see all important labeled
appointments only (red). I cannot find these instructions. Please help

Choose View | Current View | Customize Current View or in Outlook 2003, =
View | Arrange By | Current View | Customize Current View. You can use =
the Filter dialog to show only appointments meeting your criteria. If =
you need such a view often, use the Define Views dialog to create a new =
named view.
