Default InfoPath Form MSI fails to Install

I have observed that InfoPath Form MSI doesn't get installed during following
scenarios:

1. If Office 2003 and Office 2007 both are installed on a machine then
InfoPath form fails to install.
2. If Office 2003 and Office 2007 both are installed on a machine and
user uninstalls only Office 2003. Now if one tries to install InfoPath form
then it fails to install.

In both scenarios following error message is shown by installer:
Cannot create InfoPath.ExternalApplication object. Error code = 0x80080005.

Here InfoPath form is designed using InfoPath 2007.

and i have read http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931414#appliesto this but
this is not the case with me.

any idea how to resolve this?

any pointers on this would be very useful.

I have posted this question at here too:
