Little red X again
Sorry to ask again, but I am not absolutely sure I posted this original
request properly. When I save some Word documents I see a little red X surrounded by a circle to the left of the animated green 'saving' indicator bar at the bottom of the screen. What the heck does that mean? The red X does not seem to be any more than a warning or something that provides information. I can't find any mention of this red X in any of my help books. How can I get rid of the red X--it makes me nervous. Thanks for any help. |

Little red X again
It's a cancel button for the save operation.
I'm guessing Word creates a new file during the saving process and in a last step replaces the old file with the new one. If you are able to press the button before that last step occurs, you can cancel the save operation. Yves "Retdean" wrote in message ...
