Default ActiveX Controls

Is there anyway to link an ActiveX control in a powerpoint presentation to an
Excel document so when the user selects there answer from the ActiveX control
(either a drop down menu or a multiple choice button) the answer they select
gets linked to a cell in an excel spreadsheet? Thanks!
