change a visio shape

I want to quickly and easily change a standard Visio shape I have already
used to another standard shape. Say from box to decision block.

Have you come across the "Flowchart Shapes" shape in the 'Basic Flowcharts
Shapes' stencil? This contains four different geometries that can be
changed on a right-mouse click.

We also have a utility called Search and Replace for substituting one
shape for another:

I don't know how it compares with the Sandrila product but you can see
a description for how it works at the above link and download a trial
version.

We have internal shape development tools that create "multi-shapes"
out of several regualar shapes. This means that one master can
represetn many shapes and you can change from one to the other with a
right mouse click. If you have a need for special shapes like this,
you can contact me to discuss it.
