negative numbers do not show in print preview or on paper

Hello,

In a specific spreadsheet, when i type in negative numbers in the
material adjustment field (column BU) , the numbers don't show up in
the print preview or on paper. a sample of the spreadsheet can be
downloaded at http://www.geocities.com/bdasscartman/sample.xls

any ideas? thanks in advance for your help!

I looked at your workbook and could not replicate the problem with xl2002 on
xphome using Xerox color laser driver. Could be the merged cells (why do you
have it designed with so many small merged columns and why do you have so
many unused rows and columns?) or the printer driver???
