Default PowerPoint Slide Show w/Animation

I have a slide with a white background that I am overlaying with a textbox
the same
size with a black background with a fade-in entrance to simulate daylight to
darkness. It works, but I'm see a vertical white line on the right-side of
the show and can't figure out how to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

I've seen that too!
I got rid of it with a rectangle (color of the background) that is half on
the slide, half outside, behind. There is certainly an other way but my
tries felt to work

Thank you for your assistance. I used your suggestion of the rectangle along
with changing my resolution - luckily changing my resolution didn't hurt too
many of my shape placements and I only had to adjust a few.
