I understand that with Microsoft Visio Professional 2007, you can install on
one desktop computer and one laptop. How much for each additional computer we
would want to install it on? We have 3 more if it's not too expensive. If
expensive only one more. Thank you.

You require one license for every machine that can simultaneously use the
product (three people = three licenses). Only you/your company can decide if
it costs too much.

Al, you should mention that we know the technical side of Visio and only a
passing knowledge of the VooDoo side called licensing. Microsoft does have
volume licensing, but you need an advanced degree in witchcraft to
understand it. Volume licensing is available, but I have no idea what the
current minimum number of copies are required to get the discount.

I would recommend searching on "Microsoft licensing" or contact a local
Micorosft rep.

The people answering questions here are quite knowledgable on the technical
side of Visio, but are not experts at how Microsoft licenses their products.

John,
Thanks. Renee has been running this issue on several different posts. On one
of the others I pointed her to the web page for the EU license and the
Pricing pages.

When you say a license for every machine, do you mean that you have to
purchase 3 Visio Professionals, one for each? I was just thinking there was a
discount for purchasing 1Visio Prof and purchasing additional licenses
instead of the whole program. Man,this can get so confusing for us newbies
and I'm sure it's alot of aggrevation for you experts. But just so you know,
we appreciate you putting up with us!! Thanks a whole bunch.
