Default Select shapes by custom property?

I see you can assign custom properties to shapes, view these properties on
selected shapes, and find individual shapes with matching properties (full-
text search). You can also create a report that includes these properties,
but reports seem fairly static. Is it possible to create a more dynamic
report, so I can sort a group of objects based on a property, and then
easily track back from a row in the report to a shape on the page?

Ideally, a report would be live, and clicking a row in a report would
select the matching shape. Is this possible in Visio 2003?

Thanks.

Unfortunately the functionality you request (click on report to go back
to the drawing) is not available in the product. However with Visio's
published interfaces you can probably write it (although the integration
across products could be a real challange).
