locking shapes
In a VISIO 2007 Professional Sheet I would like to "lock" the shapes so that
the shape can be selected but not changed (e.g. moved, deleted). I have tried locking VISIO layers.. but shapes on a locked layer are not selectable. I have also tried the VISIO Protect capability. Using the protect capability, I can lock shapes for all but selection. This works except a line can still be moved when seleted. Any ideas?

Select the shape, menu Window - Show Shapesheet in the Protection section - LockVtxEdit Now the trick to get that to work on all connectors menu File - Shapes - Show Document Stencil find the connectors, double click to master shape to go into edit mode, select the shape within the master, now do the shapesheet bit as above.
