Try this and see if it helps:

The OEMIG50.EXE file is used for version checking and

upgrading process.
Please find this file and rename it [e.g., OEMIG50.old]

to see if the error
message will go away. If no help, post back with the

version numbers shown
in Help/About for both Internet Explorer and Outlook

Express along with
information as to what operating system you are running.

Dear Everyone,
I have problem with stationery section of my Outlook
Express. Whenever I keep the preview option check box on
and click a stationery, the OE gets shutdown completely.
The stationery works well if preview option is off.
Does anyone have solution for this?
I use Windows XP professional SP1
with Internet Explorer SP1
The error message is as follows which is displayed
sometime.

Don't you also have one in
%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express
?

If this isn't a typo I think it is showing that you do not have XPsp1
and therefore do not have IE6sp1 either. So your patches would
all be done at the IE6 level. However, there are two patches listed
there which have IE6sp1 as a prerequisite; so I suspect you omitted
the SP1; ? The module list indicates that you have IE6sp1 too.

You could capture the whole string correctly by entering in an Address bar:

javascript:navigator.appMinorVersion
