Default Help on area code dialing rules for SBS 2003 Fax Service

Hi,

This was posted under microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs with no responses

I have a large group of fax numbers within an Exchange public folder that we
need to fax to. I've figured out how to fax to these numbers, but the
problem is that when we fax to numbers that are within our area code, SBS
dials the area code, which of course does not work.

I configured our the dialing rules on our SBS server to not dial the area
code (see below) within the dialing rules dialog box. But, it still dials
the phone number.

Thx
