Default Removing text after it has arrived

I have a slide with several text boxes arriving after each
other. Half way through I want a Slide-sized text box to
come in over the others and then leave the slide straight
afterwards - leaving the other text boxes as they were.

How do you do this???

THANKS!!!

Depends what version of PPT you're using.

Hi,

Bit difficult with 97. One way would be to have a rectangle over the text
with no line border and background set to "Background", assuming that is an
option in 97. Then when that animates in as part of your sequence, it will
hide the text. Exit animations (Thankyou Microsoft!), came in with
PowerPoint 2002.
