Default reinstallinf office pro 2003

I had to start over with my computer. In the process, I lost my MS small
office 2003. When I went to load my Office Pro 2003 upgrade, the load
program would not load it because it could not find supporting software. I
worked with Dell but they were no help. I've looked everywhere for my
original small office disk but cannot find it. Aside from buying a full
version of office pro 2003 or 2007 does anybody have any suggestions as to
how I can get my office pro 2003 upgrade to load? I can probably find a 2000
version or something else that would support the 2003 pro version but am
wondering if there is an easier way. Thanks.

There is no easier way, you need a qulifying version on cd, to point to when
your upgrade version complains.

Maybe your Dell was origonally supplied with Works, which is a qualifying
version, have you checked your origonal supplied Dell disks?
