Import text from cells in a Word table into graphic 'sticky notes'
Hello,
I have a large amount of text in a Word table that I would like to merge the contents of each individual table row into a graphic image that looks like a Post-It-Note in MS Word. In other words, I need to have 10-12 'sticky notes' on a Word page with the contents of each row in the sticky note. Please help! |

Import text from cells in a Word table into graphic 'sticky no
Thanks for the quick response. I use SnagIt all the time - it's a great
program. However, I need to automate the process to copy the text in each row (over 20 pages of MS Word tables). Here's the deal - the information was actually captured from Post-It-Notes during large group facilitated sessions. These post-it-notes were placed on large sheets of chart paper, moved around and then arranged into meaningful groups / ideas / actions on the chart paper. Someone then did their best to type the results into Word tables - with each notes info on a separate row. I'd like to somehow have a 'open' graphic image of a 3 x 5 post-it-note and then merge the Table /row info into a Word doc. I'm not sure if it's necessary that the p-i-n's have to be in a non-grid arrangement, but that'd be wonderful. Is your problem how to get the text from a table row into the sticky note? Then merge the table row cells and copy/paste special as unformatted text into the Sticky Note Text Box. If merging gives undesirable results, you can also opt to copy the cell contents cell by cell.
