Table design error
Hello:
I am developing a table now. Whenever I saved my table, it shows "Property value is too large" and I could not save it. I checked all my field and did not find anything wrong. Any idea on this? Thanks in advance! |

We are having a little trouble seeing all your properties. What have you
tried in terms of trouble-shooting. Trouble-shooting generally involves removing stuff a bit at a time until it works. The last piece you removed was the cause of your problem. -- Duane Hookom MS Access MVP "Vincdc" wrote in message ... Hello: I am developing a table now. I tried to use combox "yes/no/unknown" for some fields. However, it works on
most of fields, but does not work on some fields. I used exactly same format. Even, I tried to delete the one and create a new field; it still does not field and gives me the same error message. Do not know why. Thanks "Duane Hookom" wrote: We are having a little trouble seeing all your properties. What have you tried in terms of trouble-shooting. Don't use a lookup/combo box for any field in a table design
http://www.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm. BTW: if you want to do this, you can't set the row source of a combo box to "yes/no/unknown" except as to expect this to be a single value on a text type field. -- Duane Hookom MS Access MVP -- "Vincdc" wrote in message ... Thanks!
I will try to avoid using combo box in the table design. "Duane Hookom" wrote: Don't use a lookup/combo box for any field in a table design http://www.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm. Pardon my intrusion...
How many fields do you have in your table? Have you run the Repair and Compact utility? -- Good luck Jeff Boyce Access MVP |
