VGA Freeze device??
Anyone ever heard of or seen a device that can simply freeze the VGA
output of a computer during a live presentation? I would love a device with a VGA input and output and a freeze button that I could put between my laptop and the projector so I could make last minute changes without the audience seeing anything. There are a lot of pro AV scalers that can do this (Folsom, Analog Way, Extron, Kramer, etc.) but they are both too big and too expensive to just throw in a laptop bag. I also know that many projectors have this built in but I often use high end staging projectors which I don't have control over. I've Googled like crazy and talked to Extron, Kramer, and Folsom but none of them have a small compact device with this capability. Is this type of thing on anyone else's "wish list?" Steve |

Did you get one?
Steve,
did you purchase the VGA freeze device? Iam also interested in locating one. If Steve's not available does anyone else know where one of these items can be purchased? Thanks for any assistance you can give on this search. Jan Steve Blake wrote: VGA Freeze device?? 28-Dec-07 Thanks TD, He is indeed making exactly what I am looking for. I did not get one yet. It was still in Beta testing last time I checked a few months ago. But it might be ready by now. Look higher up in the thread for his email.
