Default Delete entire contents of folder

Is there a way to delete the entire contents of a folder - such as similar
to the Deleted Items folder - right click and empty? I created a folder
called Possible Spam and have a rule set to send certain messages to that
folder. If I see that I don't want any of those messages is there a quick
way to get rid of all of them at once - preferably *completely* delete them?
I'm using OE 6, Windows XP. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Clink on any message header to highlight it and then Ctrl+A will highlight
them all. Delete, empty the Deleted Items folder and then compact.

Click on Outlook Express at the top of the folder tree so no folders are
open. Then: File | Work Offline (or double click Working Online in the
Status Bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until
the compacting is completed.
