Default blocking spammers

At the moment the only way I can block spam is by message / block sender. I
can only block one at a time and the amount I get would take all year. Is
there a way where I can select more than one at a time to block?

No. Have you considered filtering in you mail with message rules?

Try thunderbird. The latest version still works with Win9x.
