Default 2nd last section issue

Hello All,
I've been reading through some posts including about section issues
including a link I found posted here & have been unable to find a solution to
my problem. (http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...thSections.htm)

Using Win XP and Word 2003 (though my company will be going to Win 7 and
Office 15 (i think, the newly upcoming version, wonder what will get broken
then)

My issue is as follows. I am using a company template and am making a
version for use in our office with small tweaks to allow for easier changes
in page size/orientation. The last page of the template is a new section for
a page that will be flipped and put on the back cover of the report.
Therefore it has the opposite left & right margins to the rest of the
document.

The most important change i have made to the template is to align the text
and figures in the header/footer with margins so that a change in page
size/orientation will still have the proper text, picture placement.

However in the 2nd last section which has the same margins as the rest of
the document. The text in the main body and header/footer are aligned
correctly based on these margins, but the picture and text box (contains page
#) seem to be aligning based on the margins of the last section (opposite for
left & right margins).

I would appreciate help that anyone can provide.

Thanks,
David.

p.s. my interim solution is to have a "Page intentionally left blank" :-(

I also found this thread on tech-archive.net after i posted this about the
same issue. It did not come to a solution (at least one that was posted on
the internet)

http://www.tech-archive.net/Archive/.../msg00021.html
(Its a bit difficult to navigate through all of the thread , but i think
that post sums it all up)
