Default Office Home and Student 2007 Config/Install on program open

It keeps happening to me and it's getting quite frustrating. Every time I
open Office(any program from it), I get a configuration screen with a "Please
wait while windows installs . . ." message. Is there some way to get rid of
this for Windows Vista Home Premium? I've been looking around and haven't
seen anything yet outside of a removal tool for 2003 versions.

Any help would be greately appreciated

I should add that when I did the install, I DID choose to run everything from
the computer; so I left nothing to chance on that end.

repaired, reinstalled, completely removed from registry/reinstalled, etc.
Same issue keeps persisting.

If repairing, whilst logged on with Adminastrative rights, does that help?

Any new opinions or thoughts on this, by chance? I'm kind of in a bind with
it.

Hi Eric. the good news is you are not alone! There is another discussion
thread under Configure Progress issue, and three of us are in the same boat.
The bad news is that all Microsoft experts can recommend is to deinstall and
reinstall which does not work. I am about to e-mail the Digital Doctor at the
Telegraph so if I have any success I will let you know.

Did you get the problem fixed? I have the same problem. There is no problem
if I log in as admin. But if I log in as "limited user", then it goes through
the configuration process each time. Any help will be appreciated.
