I have MS Office Enterprise 2007 to install but don't work.
I am haveing similiar problems. With two separate home use discs I get an error "Setup cannot continue becase required file is eaithr corrupted or missing. Run setup again form the original source disc or download location." I have the original dvd and have disabled UAC, anti-virus, and set in properies to run as and adminstrator. The disc works and will install in my descktop running XP but not in my laptop running Vista. What is the hidden adminstrator account and how do I try that. -- bricathw ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bricathw's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=30518 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=721315 http://forums.techarena.in |

I am not familiar with Vista but found this online:
To better protect Vista, Microsoft decided that its built-in Administrator account should be disabled by default. So the built-in Administrator account is now disabled in all clean installations and upgrades of Windows Vista. There are three ways to enable the built-in Administrator account: 1. Use the AutoLogon unattended Setup setting. 2. Use the Local Users and Groups MMC console. (You won't find the Administrator account in the User Account Control Panel. But the MMC-based Computer Management section of the Administrative Tools Control Panel does give you access to the Administrator account.) 3. Use the command line: net user administrator/active:yes. (Note: You may need to disable User Account Control or else open the elevated (RUNAS) command prompt.) "bricathw" wrote: I am haveing similiar problems.
