I speak English (UK!!!!!!!!!!)
I have air bags in my car, but i hvae never used them, extending your logic
would make these redundant - not very clever, a bit like you really... "Edward W. Thompson" wrote: "rauk72" wrote in message ... Why does everything in Office (particularly Outlook) have to keep defaulting to 'US' English. I am from the UK, where we spell words properly. No matter how hard you try to change the defaults, not longer after, the automatic spell checker kicks in and everything ends in 'ize' instead of 'ise'. There are people how use your products who are not from America. Either learn to spell or make it easier for us not to have our work constantly updated into 'US' English ... snip Firstly what makes you think that in the UK words are spelt properly? English is a living language and its usuage is changing all the time. There is no 'proper' spelling only alternatives. Secondly when you run the spell checker can't you distinguish between the US and UK spelling of a particular word? If you can't why do you have a problem?. |

I also speak English and author books. My UK editor insists I use 'ize'
endings. Rauk72 seems to be both rude and out-of-date best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "Godders" wrote in message ...
