Hi

Try the following steps.
(1) Delete the Office keys under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office
and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office
(2) Restart the machine and try installing Office again.

Also, if you become disconnected from your installation point or network
resource, reconnect and try to install Office again.
If you are a mobile user who is using a laptop computer, and the
installation resource is unavailable, you cannot use the Office feature
until
you reconnect to your installation resource.

Thanks,

Mittu

Default Office 2007 Beta install error - null

Hi,

Try the following steps.
First of all boot up the machine in Clean Boot disabling possible 3rd
applications. Refer the link below for details.

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;310353

Then once you are booted onto the Desktop,
(1) Start- Run- msiexec /unregister
(2) Start- Run- msiexec /regserver

If you dont get any errors, try proceeding with the installation of Office.
