Default How to correct settings for large doc, won't output correctly

I have designed a text document that is 10" by 15" for a newspaper ad, but
each time I try and convert to a pdf it still comes up with sides and bottom
cut off, like a regular letter doc. I have reset to custom paper size in the
printer window (I am printing to deskPDFpro to convert to pdf file) but to no
avail. I have tried everything as far as changing paper sizes, etc. Any CLUES?
