Default mail Merge printing problems

I have completed a mail merge and can see the envelopes in Word. When I try
to print them I get a drop down box that says Save As..... I have saved it,
but nothing happens. There is a box at the bottom of the word document that
says " Word is preparing to background print the document"..... but nothing
happens. (It goes away after I save the file.) What am I doing wrong???

You may need to go to the printer and press the continue button (whichever
one that is for your particular printer). When printing envelopes, a lot of
times it will automatically be set to MANUAL so that you are able to get the
envelopes staged.
