Default Issue with milestone shapes and timeline in 2003

I recently upgraded from Visio 2000 to Visio 2003. I have a document that
uses the timeline shapes. I have a block timeline and in Visio 2000, when
you add milestones, the milestone symbol (circle, square, diamond)
automatically size to fit the height of the block timeline.

In 2003, the milestone automatically sizes to be about half the height of
the block timeline. This usually makes the milestone too small to discern
the shape. I greatly prefer the way this works in 2000.

Anyone know a way to change the behavior? Thanks.
