Default How to stop automatic calendar deletion

I need at last 12 months of past calendar dates for reference but they seem
to be deleted automatically so I only retain about 8 weeks worth. It was
working fine before and not sure what I've done to change this. Please help
as doing my expenses has now become almost impossible......

Regards,

Purple Paula
