Default Keeping two calendars

I have a work calendar and personal calendar, but they seem to be tied
together. If I place or remove an appointment it one it happens in the other.
I want these calendars to have different information. Thank you.

Default Keeping two calendars

File | New | Folder. Create a second Calendar folder and call it "Personal"
(or "Work")
