Customizing Mouse Pointer?
Hi,
I'd like to get Word to stop putting little text lines next to the pointer when I am mousing over text. I looked but could only find info on changing the pointer itself, not on changing the contextual behavior/appearance. I really dislike added busyness when I am working in a file, so try to get things as stripped down and simple as possible (a real challenge in Windows, I am finding!) Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Jessica |

Customizing Mouse Pointer?
G'Day Jessica,
The 'little text lines' are there to tell you that a useful feature of Word (Click-and-Type) is available to you. Customizing Mouse Pointer?
Hi Pat,
Thanks for your post. I was able to follow your link and find a way to turn off the Click and Type feature. -Jessica "Pat Garard" wrote: G'Day Jessica, The 'little text lines' are there to tell you that a useful feature of Word (Click-and-Type) is available to you.
