Access Viewer
Hi All - Access 2002 XP - Win ME
Is there an Viewer for Access like the one for Word? I need to show a sample of an Access app. on a machine that does not have Access loaded. If so, I would truly appreciate a reference or a link where I can downloaded it. I've been searching for one on the Internet for the past hour or so, but, haven't turned up any information for one yet. Just thought I'd see if one was available before I went any further. :-) Best regards. Jan Smiles are meant to be shared, that's why they're so contagious. |

Jan,
Unfortunately, no, there isn't. Probably the best you could do is to create a runtime version of the application, but that's only available if you have the Developer's Edition of Access. -- Lynn Trapp MS Access MVP www.ltcomputerdesigns.com Access Security: www.ltcomputerdesigns.com/Security.htm "Jan Il" wrote in message ... I would prefer to put them in Word, though, because it's a little more flexible AND you can print it out as a training document later on. I hope something like that will help you do what you need to do. -- Lynn Trapp MS Access MVP www.ltcomputerdesigns.com Access Security: www.ltcomputerdesigns.com/Security.htm |

I may want to add some other informationl. I'm also thinking that once setup in Word, I could then take some of them into PowerPoint to insert perhaps arrows and/or call-outs that would also be animated for specific emphasis as well. I hope something like that will help you do what you need to do. Thank you very much for your time and help, I truly appreciate it. I'll give them a go and see where I get......besides in trouble. ;=)) HAIW, Jan Smiles are meant to be shared, that's why they're so contagious. |

Hi TC :-)
"test" wrote in message ... Might be a nice little app: Access to Word or Powerpoint! I've tested the concept of working between Access and Word before, to print specific groups of inspection forms created in and stored in Word, which are called from a filter or control form within Access. It does work well. Dirk Goldgar created the exact function to do this for me some time ago, which we will build into a new app. I am currently working on. I've worked on a joint project between Access and PowerPoint, but, only for a one shot event. I am also now working on a project for PowerPoint maintenance training projects, including animated digital photos and data controlled in Access. It's fun stuff. ;=) Jan Smiles are meant to be shared, that's why they're so contagious. "Lynn Trapp" wrote in message ... It sounds like you have it well in hand.
