Default Open a page form

Hi All

I have a MAIN form that contains Tabs, these tabs indivdually are linked to
sub-forms so when you select a tab the relevant subform appears.

Dilema.....

I have code that runs a calculation and refreshes a subform not a problem
works fine however I have code which then repoens the main form, is it
possible to ammend the code which is standard

docmd.openform "form name",acnormal

to open the mainform but go direct to the relevant subform? I imagine it is
straight forward.

it should not be necessary to close and reopen the main form. Can you give
more detail on what you are doing and why you are having to repoen the main
form? I am sure there is a better way.
