Default email a link to a Powerpoint presentation on network drive

I can't seem to get the right steps to sending out an email to my staff, with
a link that will allow each staff to open up a Powerpoint Slide show I saved
(on a network drive which is accessible to all staff). Sending an HTML email
with a hyperlink to a file - not working..what am I missing..is there a
tutorial ? Office 2007

What email client is your staff using?

What does the hyperlink look like?

What happens when email recipients click the link?
