Data not saving in the continous form
Hi,
if anyone can help me on this one, I really appreaciate it. Now I am in a Access front end, Oralce back end project. For one form. I use link Oracle table through ODBC. I have a continous form as sub form in a big form (Main form). Now my problem is, when I change value in a field of continous form, I found the value goto the Oracle correctly. but once I close the Main form, the value in the Oracle back to the default. I tried, "DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acRecordsMenu, acSaveRecord, , acMenuVer70" in the subform_close event which is NOT working. the Oracle "table" link to the continous form is View which link 3 table of Oracle. I specify 3 fields as key when I link this View to Access. I can update it when I run this View only. What is the problem? I really appreacite if you point me to the right direction. thank you a million. Wes |
