Default FAX ATTACHMENT WITHOUT OFFICE OR OUTLOOK?

Hello All,

I just installed XP Fax recently but am trying to fax an attachment
that I scanned into the computer. Some are TIF's and some are PDF's.
Can this be done without outlook or office being installed? I noticed
that the fax wizard does not have the ability to attach a file to a
fax, is there anyway to do this?

As Always, Thank you in advance,

Airborne Johnny

As long as you have an application that can print a file, you should be able
to fax by printing to the Fax Printer, which should appear in your list of
printers.

Faxing attachments requires the use of Outlook. Otherwise you must print to
fax from the originating application.

Not really. If you only have one file to send, you might as well just print
to fax from the supporting application.
