Picture as background
I have Word 2003 and I'm trying to do something I've done successfully with
past versions. I want to insert a photo as a background. The image is 1-1/2 inches high by 8 inches wide, and every time I insert it, it tiles to cover the whole page. When I've done this in the past, there was some sort of check box or other way to choose options for insertion in the dialogue box, and I could tell it not to stretch and not to tile, but to maintain the original aspect ratio (or something like that). I'm inserting the graphic "behind the text" in the header as a work-around, but I'd really like to know how to resolve this the right way - if that's possible. Thanks for your time. |
