Default "from field" not showing poster?

I can't see who is posting a message in the 'from' field in Outlook Express.
The field is there, but its always blank. Is there some way to turn it on
so the posters name appears?

Hi Jer,

Are there other accounts exhibiting the same behavior? There could be
corruption in the Road Runner news account in Outlook Express, but that is
only a guess. The account could be removed and added back to explore this
possibility. It would be possible to first give the current account a
"friendly" name then add another RR news server account using the add new
account wizard.

If you view the group using the Microsoft news server can you see names in
the From field?

I have several computers here on a home network, and it works ok on the
others but not this new notebook I just bought. OS is Win XP Pro on all
computers.

Would you think I am going to have to do a 'repair' of the OS in order to
fix this? OE works fine in all other respects, so I was just hoping it was a
'switch' somewhere that I'm not aware of?

I haven't tried removing RR news account yet, but I have added this account,
and news.grc.com, and its the same in all three news accounts.

I've always been partial to lap dances. They're a bit better than
newsgroups. G
