Default WTF!! NitroPDF will not get out of Word 2007.....

Like some kind of idiot, I installed NitroPDF to try. Word started
crashing every time I closed it, I uninstalled NitroPDF.

Word 2007 kept crashing, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

It was still crashing. So I looked at what add-ins may be causing the
problem and saw nitropdf.dotm still in the Word 2007 Add-ins and in the
Templates.

I tried to click remove....but it just cashes Word.

So I re-installed NitroPDF and tried to remove the damned file, but it
still crashes Word.

I went to the folder where is said the file was located (C:\Users\User
Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP\NitroP DF.dotm) but it isn't
there. In fact NOTHING is there! (And, no, I am not an idiot. I have
folder view set to show all hidden and system files.)

I searched the registry in Vista, but the filename never shows.

I don't know how to get rid of this damned thing!

STAY AWAY FROM NitroPDF!!!

Another thing...when I uninstall NitroPDF, it throws up a screen that
says "The following applications should be closed before continuing the
installation: Windows Explorer"

What the hell kind of application must close Windows Explorer to uninstall!?

I said it before, and I'll say it again....STAY AWAY FROM NitroPDF!!!

Not even running NitroPDF's cleanup utility from their website could fix
this problem.

I finally found the solution at Egghead Cafe..."It turns out the path to
the template is stored in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\W ord\Data, in the
"Settings" value. Deleting/renaming this key makes Word recreate it."
(thanks to whoever posted that at http://tinyurl.com/nitropdffix .....no
name was given....)

I have this product also. Everything you say is true. It is truly
invasive, completely unreliable, and a total pain.
