Default Cannot send, folder.dbx problem

Hi!

I have a user who's emails don't leave the outbox sometimes. I have to
reboot his pc. I read about the folder.dbx file fix but deleting it messes
up her folders and some don't get opened.

Any clues?

Delete the Outbox.dbx with OE closed. That is probably the corrupt file, not
Folders.dbx.

Also:

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer
of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as
time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V program will
continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see:

If sent messages are being saved in Sent Items and deleting Outbox.dbx
doesn't fix the problem, then Sent Items.dbx needs to be deleted.
Remove the messages from Sent Items before deleting.
