Default Installing Template

I have installed templates. When I go to File New and
choose the Invoice template, I get a pre-made invoice.
However, it has a date on it that is automatically
changing to the current date each time I open it. There is
not a function in the date cell, just the date. Has anyone
ever used the invoice template and know how to keep the
date from automatically updating???
