Outlook 2007 keeps starting in Offline mode
I have a machine that has Office 2007 and I just installed Windows 7 on the
same system. Now, whenever I start Outlook, it defaults to offline mode. Every discussion I can find on this subject deals with the emails having been setup in Exchange mode, but the emails are all using POP3. I can manually turn on online mode, but after restarting Outlook - it always begins in offline. I need Outlook to start in online. |

Does this happen even if you start Outlook in Safe Mode? (hold down CTRL
while you click the icon) See if this helps: http://www.officeforlawyers.com/outlook/tsol.htm#safe Do you have Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 installed? (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en) If you click Start | Run and type "Outlook" then press enter does the same thing happen? -- -Ben- Ben M.
