Default Format Cells - Currency v. Accounting

Format Cells - "Currency" states to use "Accounting" to align decimal points.
We can't find any difference between "Currency" format and "Accounting"
format. Decimal points seem to align with either. Can you explain the
difference?

On my system I get a space between the currency symbol and the amount with
Accounting format, looks better IMO.
