Default Child fields how does it work?

Hi,
When i run a report it prompts me to enter the name of the account (there
are ten accounts to choose from). I have added 2 unmatch subreports to this
main report that do not have the prompts attached to their underlying
queries. Would you suggest that I link the 2 unmatched reports with the
"account name" in child field & master field so that only the mismatched from
the correct account name is in the 2 unmatched sub reports?
Thanks
George
