Default Invalid product code on second computer

I bought Office Home and Student 2007 and am trying to get it installed on my
new laptop. I type the product code in correctly but I get an invalid
product code message every time. What's going on with that? I am running
Windows Vista.

Have you uninstalled any trial version of Office that was on the computer
when you bought it? If not, uninstall the trial version, reboot the
computer and then reinstall your H & S version and reattempt to put in the
code.

Let us know if this helps.

I've tried that. I'll try it again just to be sure, but I still got the
invalid product code.

Please state the exact wording of the error, including any numbers that pre
or postceed the wording.

The uninstall should be done from Control panel, Add/Remove Programs and you
should find the MS Office 2007 trial software there. If it isn't there post
back and we will try to help more.
