Default Can you install parts of 2007?

I would like to install Office 2007 except that I need to keep an old version
of Excel to support a legacy application. Is there a way to install Office
2007 without Excel 2007 and keep the old Excel installed. I tried ti do this
w/ 2003 by electing not to install Excel 2003 but it just removed All of
Office 2000. Is there a way in the 2007 version to keep Excel 2000 but have
the rest of the applications in the suite be 2007 versions?

hi Bettie,

You can use the 'custom' installation option in Office 2007 to select which applications to keep.
