Default reducing slide presentation in power point

First of all thank you TAJ Simmons for your avdice.

But is there a way of reducing the size of this file as it takes to long to
open without having to purchase another program.
I'm using office 2002, and the presentation currently takes 3 mins to
download of a
CD. I need to shorten this to 0.5 min
I've gone through and reduced, compressed as much as the system will allow me.

Please I"m totally stuck on this one

Thanking you in advance Marce

How big is your file? How many slides do you have? How did you insert
images on your slide (Copy and paste, or Insert picture from file)? Let us
know and we'll provide some other ideas.
