Default Word File Background Shade

This afternoon I was online with a Microsoft offiiiice technician (I hae
office small business edition2003 We were wrooking on my problem reproducing
a scanned hard copy image to save in a word file. believe he helped but just
as we hung up I noted that the color background in my present word files
appear to be blue (before I think they were more grey). Blue can only be
seen round outline of document. Does anyone know how I can get "default"
background appearance back? Following this occurance I receivied some tech
assistane and was resassured that if say I email my resume to a employer they
won't see the same background I view on my computer. Is thattrue? If
someone can explain in the simplest of terms how to get orginal/default
background back in word I would appreciate it. Thanks claudia
