Default Changing font for objects created in Microsoft Equation 3.0

Please help:

I am using Microsoft Word 2000, version 9.0.2720.

My document has hundreds of equations. All of these
equations were created in Microsoft Equation 3.0.
Unfortunately, when I go "Insert/object/microsoft equation
3.0", the resulting wizard/pop up window doesn't allow me
to choose the Font for the text that I create in this
Equation Editor.

Is there a way to change the font [including the font for
the "superscript" and "subscript"] of all of the Microsoft
Equation 3.0 objects contained in a Word document?

I would truly appreciate any help on this.

All the Best,

Stan

Default Microsoft Equation 3.0 font

P.S.

When I right click on an equation, I see options
Equation Object/Edit and
Equation Object/Open

The "edit" one doesn't allow one to set the font.
The "open" one allows one to change the font of the
particular equation. I didn't know about this when I was
typing my document

Now I have hundreds of equations for which I have to
change the font.

Can I change the font of all of the Equation objects in a
Word documents by changing the DEFAULT fonts of Microsoft
Equation 3.0? Here is what I mean by "default fonts":

Right click on the equation - Equation Object/Open Now,
on the toolbar, we can select Size. On the resulting Pop
up window, there is a button - "Defaults". When I click
on this button, all of the font values change to defaults.

I guess my question is - how does one Change the Defaults?
If I am able to change the defaults, will the font of ALL
of the equations in my document change, or will only the
New equations created in the Microsoft Equation 3.0 editor
have the font values corresponding to the default values?

Thank you for your help

Default Problem solved - sorry.

It seems that when one changes the size in ONE equationsin
a document, the sizes in All equations change.

Sorry.
