Default Error Messages on Websites Accessed through Outlook Connector

Why do I get error messages on some websites accessed through Outlook
Connector when they do not appear if accessing the web direct through
Internet Explorer.
Some websites also don't recognise the flash player I have loaded whereas I
know this is up to date.
I have AVG protection and wonder if that has been set incorrectly.

Sorry, but this makes no sense at all. You don't ever access web sites
through Outlook Connector, That add-in is used strictly to access mailboxes
on the Hotmail/MSN/Windows Live servers.

If you mean you're using Outlook to browse web pages, why? It's a mail
client, not a web browser. It's much more limited (intentionally) in its
rendering ability than a real web browser.

Outlook can't access the Flash player. Outlook doesn't allow active content
in mail.

You should not install the Outlook integration AVG allows. AVG versions from
8 onward have the potential to significantly interfere with the reception and
sending of mail.
